Christie: I am an adoptive, foster, and birth mom of five (and counting). I am a homeschooling former schoolteacher who tries her hand at goatherding, cheesemaking, gardening, and most anything else. As a convert to the Catholic faith and a recovered New Ager and NeoPagan, I know that pride leads us by our upturned noses into spots we'll later want to scrape from our boots.
